J. Matthew Knight, M.D. is the founder and medical director of the Knight Dermatology Institute, located in downtown Orlando, Florida. A diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Knight is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. He is a member of the The Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery and several other medical and leadership societies. Dr. Knight is a member of the dermatology faculty of Orlando Health, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies.

Dr. Knight is the current president of the Central Florida Society of Dermatology.

In private practice since 2004, Dr. Knight specializes in surgical dermatology and cosmetic laser surgery of the skin. He is the author of several white papers and lectures on practice management, particularly with regard to establishing and growing an aesthetic laser practice. An early-adopter of fractional ablative resurfacing, he has worked closely with Lumenis, Inc., and incorporates Ultrapulse, M22, and LightSheer technologies into his busy laser practice.

Dr. Knight lives in Winter Park, Florida with his wife Marissa and their new baby.
