Shauna Diggs, MD

Dr. Diggs is an American Board of Dermatology certified dermatologist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Diggs is a leading dermatologist specializing in cosmetic and laser dermatology and the founder of CosmedicDerm in Grosse Point, Michigan.

With more than fifteen years of experience under her belt, Dr. Diggs is an expert in dermatology laser therapy. She served as the first-ever medical director of the Detroit Medical Center Advanced Laser Treatment Center and has guest lectured at both the University of Michigan Dental and Medical Schools as well as for the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University Medical School plastic surgery department and Advanced Laser Treatment Center.

Recognized as an expert in the field, Dr. Diggs has been featured as a guest on Fox News and in the pages of Styleline , The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press.

Dr. Diggs is a proponent of community engagement and serves as a member of the Junior League of Detroit and The Links, Inc. She works closely with the Rhonda Walker Foundation through a program designed to educate teenage girls about skin health and hair care. Dr. Diggs serves on the board of directors of several area nonprofits including the Detroit Institute of Arts, Forgotten Harvest, Detroit Zoological Society and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation.

Michael Mirmanesh, MD

Dr. Mirmanesh is a California trained Plastic Surgeon who was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. After graduating from Bishop Eustace Prep, Dr. Mirmanesh attended the College of Charleston where he majored in Molecular Biology and Chemistry, graduating with honors. Dr. Mirmanesh then attended medical school close to home, at Drexel University, where he excelled and was voted class president all 4 years, again graduating with honors. Following his successful medical school career, Dr. Mirmanesh was accepted into the highly competitive integrated plastic surgery residency at one of the nation’s top 10 public universities, The University of California Davis. Dr. Mirmanesh’s training in California, the mecca for plastic surgery in the United States, allowed him to master the most advanced and modern techniques plastic surgery offers. Dr. Mirmanesh then completed a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Sydney, Australia, adding a dose of international wisdom to his expertise.

Dr. Mirmanesh also trained at several nationally renowned children’s hospitals, including UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children and Shriners Hospital for Children. As a father of two, the son of a pediatrician, brother of a pediatrician, and husband of a pediatrician, Dr. Mirmanesh shares the love of caring for children with his family and in 2019 he founded ‘Oto Angels’ a non-profit organization providing free ear surgery for children and young adults with prominent ears.

Dr. Mirmanesh has medical licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and California. He also serves as medical director of The Garden Medical Spa, South Jersey’s most exclusive medical spa. Due to his unique training, Dr. Mirmanesh has the ability to perform many procedures in the office under local anesthesia.

Dr. Mirmanesh has authored over a dozen plastic surgery publications and multiple book chapters. He is an internationally invited speaker, recently giving talks in Boston, Los Angeles, Montreal, and San Francisco.

Melanie D. Palm, MD, MBA

Melanie D. Palm, MD, MBA is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic cosmetic surgeon. Her dedication to education is a testament to her passion for healthy skin and happy patients. Dr. Palm has authored over 25 published medical articles and five book chapters on varying subjects within the dermatology and cosmetic surgery literature.

A national and international cosmetic dermatology expert, Dr. Palm has lectured on four continents regarding safety and innovation pertaining to laser technology, injectables, liposculpture and vein treatments. Dr. Palm has been featured on numerous TV and radio news programs including The Doctors, Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS, KUSI and CW. Sandra Woods, PA

Director of Clinical Aesthetics, Lumenis

Sandra is a licensed and board-certified physician assistant with over 25 years of experience focusing primarily in the field of dermatology and laser aesthetics. Sandra is currently Director of Clinical Aesthetes at Lumenis Inc, the largest global leader in the field of minimally invasive clinical solutions for the surgical, ophthalmology and aesthetic markets. Sandra leads a clinical aesthetic team providing training to medical staff on multiple aesthetic laser platforms nationally and globally. Sandra is also a former owner of a medical laser and aesthetic facility. She has extensive experience on procedures and protocols related to fractional CO2 lasers, Intense Pulsed Light, laser hair removal, Botox, Fillers and medical grade skin care products. Sandra was responsible for developing, opening and operating a stand-alone laser and surgery center for a major health care organization in Wisconsin. She has also consulted with numerous aesthetic facilities focusing on facility development, growth and customer care. Most notably, Sandra is a U.S. Air Force Veteran, where she was trained and found her passion for the field of medicine at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.
