Dr. Kroft specializes in low-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery. Her clinical practice focuses on the treatment of endometriosis and fibroids. She completed her residency at the University of Toronto and her fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, certified through the American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). She is part of the fellowship training program at Sunnybrook and acts as the research supervisor. She completed her Masters in Clinical Epidemiology at McMaster University and conducts clinical research mostly investigating surgical outcomes as well as surgical education.

 

Antonio Gargiulo

Dr. Antonio Gargiulo is a reproductive endocrinologist and reproductive surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and an associate professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Gargiulo is the medical director of robotic surgery at BWH and is an internationally recognized pioneer in benign gynecologic robotic surgery.

Dr. Gargiulo’s trailblazing work on the use of CO2 laser technology in robotic surgery has contributed numerous publications to the peer-reviewed scientific literature.The value of his academic contribution to the medical field rests mainly in two defining aspects: 1) his consistent dedication to the development and improvement of novel reproductive surgery techniques that can complement advanced reproductive technologies to improve the prognosis of infertile couples, and 2) his deep commitment to clinical mentorship, promoting advanced reproductive surgery by sharing best practice models and technical innovations with residents, fellows and attendings.

Carmen McCaffrey

Dr. Carmen McCaffrey completed her medical school at the University of Calgary and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto. Following residency, she completed a two year AAGL-accredited fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.She is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto.

Her current clinical practice specializes in low-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including surgical management of advanced endometriosis.
