Pursuant to the Emergency Executive Order No. 226 dated August 20, 2021, issued by the City of New York – Office of the Mayor, “Key to NYC” requires people 12 and older to provide proof of vaccination (i.e., receipt of at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) to access certain on-site amenities including dining, banquet, and fitness facilities.
Generally, the proof of vaccination requirements applies to all employees, patrons, interns, contractors, volunteers, and event vendors (including, without limitation, audio visual professionals, entertainers, and outside caterers) aged 12 and over.

This requirement may not be used as an excuse for businesses to discriminate against anyone who has valid vaccination proof.
