Craig Wilcox
Craig trained as an Optometrist in Johannesburg South Africa, and went on to specialise in The Treatment & Management of Ocular Disease & Pharmaceutical Application and Developmental Vision & Public Health through the New England College of Optometry Boston, USA.
He held UK certification in Developmental Optometry as well as post Graduate qualifications from Cardiff University and Birmingham Aston University in Ocular Disease, Independent Prescribing and Glaucoma.
Recently retired from clinical practice he devotes his time to product development and clinical training having lectured extensively both internationally and nationally on Clinical Topics, Dry Eye, Contact Lenses and Communication Skills.
Connan Tam
With his dual qualification in optics, Connan took on several roles, including paediatric eye care at Hillingdon Hospital, glaucoma and specialist contact lens practice at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, and teaching paediatric optometry, binocular vision and Visual Stress Assessment at City University. He also worked alongside leading paediatric consultant ophthalmologists in their private clinics.
In 2013, Connan established his own clinic in Harley Street as a specialist optometrist/orthoptist, specialising in paediatric eye care and contact lens fitting. He also provides vision screening for 4–5-year-olds at several independent schools throughout the year.
In 2014, Connan joined Burnett Hodd, becoming a partner the following year. His expertise in binocular vision has helped expand this specialism within the practice.
